Deep Clean Air Techniek

Deep Clean Air Techniek (DCAT) was established in 2018 by Marc Lenselink. As the name implies, the business supplies the finest air purification systems for people with asthma, hay fever or other respiratory conditions. These systems are recommended by lung specialists.  The air and surfaces in the space are purified naturally without the use of filters. This technology was developed by NASA in the United States and is used in various air purification products today. It is a combination of RCI technologies that include UV light and ionisation treatments.

No air filters required

The main benefit of the system is that it works without filters. Traditional systems with filters remove most impurities from the air but miss an essential element; hazardous bacteria, viruses, moulds, and odoursare not removed. This unique, patented filter-free technology offers a total solution for residential buildings, utilities, schools, healthcare facilities, restaurants, hotels, and offices.

Scientifically tested

Until now, RCI has shown that it can be applied to disinfect every virus, bacteria, mould, and odour safely. Independent studies conducted by Kansas State University and the University of Cincinnati have also shown that this advanced oxidation process is effective against the H5N8 avian flu strain, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Streptococcus, E-Coli, Listeria, Candida, Pseudomonas, Bacillus Subtilis, black mould, and recently, COVID-19. These academic studies have shown that RCI technology can disinfect between 96.4% to 99.99% of surface contaminants and airborne viruses and bacteria within the first 24 hours after installation.

The air purification systems come in a variety of forms ranging from a personal appliance that you can wear around your neck to desktop varieties for homes and offices, car kits, and larger systems that can be placed in existing air treatment channels. Many systems are sold to installation companies and wholesalers both locally and internationally.

The systems are sold to businesses and individuals. You could say that these products can be placed anywhere where people work and live. One unusual application is the installation of a system at fresh seafood supplier Jan van As. The system not only reduces the distinctive fishy odour, but its purifying function also keeps the fish fresh for an average of four more days. A very profitable solution!
